You probably have a Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing (although it doesn’t matter if you don’t) but depending on how long you have been working, you are probably wondering why everything you learned at university doesn’t seem to be relevant any more. We are looking for a senior brand consultant/manager to come on board and contribute both strategic and tactical nous to projects for new and existing clients.The successful applicant will take a lead role within the organisation, be responsible for developing and leading a team of brand consultants and liaise with our growing teams of creative and digital ninjas.
Strategic responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Developing and managing branding activities. Working directly with internal and external partners and clients to coordinate brand research, brand strategy and brand implementation projects to ensure alignment of culture, messaging, narratives and relationships for maximum effectiveness.
You will know how to leverage the importance of social media by showcasing a client’s brand through not just the traditional channels but also multiple tactical initiatives including speaking engagements, thought leadership opportunities, narrative development, events/conferences, media training and briefing senior executives, budget management and ongoing communications support.
He or she will continually work with Fusionbrand teams to reassess processes and direction for the organization and clients based on the changing customer and media landscape/company priorities whilst building brands that customers embrace, time and time again.
Circa 6 or more years in brand consulting and proven experience of leading large (RM500,000+) projects for private, government & MNC brands from both the B2B and B2C environments.
Experienced managing small teams in a stressful environment.
Ability to create or quickly learn how to develop a brand (Internal, external, perception, communications & experiential) audit from scratch, implement such an audit and participate in the analysis the findings.
Ability to develop robust brand frameworks / architecture for corporate brands and present those frameworks in an articulate, passionate, convincing manner.
Ability to develop comprehensive internal and external brand strategies that incorporate communications plans that leverage the development of paid, earned and shared media.
Thorough understanding of the fluid branding landscape.
Business development experience a distinct advantage.
Assist with ongoing reviews of existing Fusionbrand brand research, strategy and implementation processes and systems and make recommendations for improvement and constantly improve as the environment changes.
Drive the development of brand platforms/frameworks/architectures for clients including the development of brand visions, missions, culture, positioning, personality, promise, differentiation, and value propositions for companies based on the need to deliver value at every touch point in the customer journey, before, during and after any interaction or sale.
Develop a team of brand consultants based on the Fusionbrand branding principles.
Provide input into the brand identity projects that include naming, logo design, brand identity standards/guidelines/systems.
Develop strategies to gain organizational buy in for each brand platform developed for clients.
Integrate effectively with our growing digital team of content developers crucial to the successful implementation of any brand strategy.
Provide well structured, compelling and innovative contributions to communications strategies that aim to shift perceptions in earned and shared media.
Build and maintain ongoing relationships with customers.
Contribute to Fusionbrand content development.
Use your experience and contacts to bring in new clients.
What’s the package like
In return for your expertise and experience as a senior brand consultant we offer a very competitive monthly salary of RM8,000 – RM12,000 depending on your levels of experience plus other benefits.
