Perinsuran Brokar is one of a new breed of Malaysian companies driven by western educated Malaysian business people with a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the Asian way of doing business. Founded in 1974 in Kuching, Sarawak, it sought to become one of the top insurance brokers in the country and was up against multinational brokers with bigger war chests. It’s brand was looking dated and it was beefing up its team with younger personnel.
Fusionbrand was commissioned to transform Perinsuran’s image from that of a traditional broker to a dynamic brand that set the benchmark for other brokers while changing perceptions of the public towards the industry.
Through group discussions, one on one interviews & workshops, Fusionbrand was able to identify values awareness, knowledge & understanding & make recommendations for the rebrand. The Fusionbrand team redesigned Perinsuran’s brand identity, redeveloped its corporate website with immersive content and a contemporary look & feel that would appeal to diverse target markets and designed a set of branded marketing collaterals such as flyers, brochures & corporate folders.
Fusionbrand also trained executives & managers responsible for business development, project management, sales and marketing on how they should carry themselves as brand advocates when dealing with clients & prospects. Areas covered throughout the workshops included branding, sales & personal grooming.
