On behalf of the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS), Fusionbrand CEO Marcus Osborne presented the first paper after the introduction by the CEO of Matrade Dr Shahreen. His presentation “How Branding has changed and why it is more critical than ever for business events” was attended by close to 200 event organisers, practitioners and government personnel.
His presentation covered the evolution of branding and revolved around 5 key success factors for successful event branding in the face of aggressive competition domestically and overseas. After the event Marcus was approached by a number of practioners seeking more information on how to work with Fusionbrand to help them build brands to compete today and tomorrow.
Marcus also participated in the forum “Positioning Malaysia for Business Events” at 1530 hrs the same day.
